- DF718 Hi-Speed 18" Saw
Delfab is proud to announce the return of an updated 3-wheeled feller buncher to the forestry market. Since 2008 no manufacturer has offered the 3-wheeled design; Delfab has modernized this machine to meet market demand and needs.
Contractors familiar with the powerful and versatile 3-wheeler know the 'zero-turn' maneuverability, multi-stem harvesting capability and light footprint minimize stand damage making the DF703 Phoenix ideal for plantation thinning.
The new DF703 boasts a 130 hp, 4-cylinder Cummins Tier III engine with updated controls and cooling system that is built to operate in hot climates. The carrier is ideally suited for Delfab's own DF718 Hi-Speed 18" disc saw. The machine has plenty of hydraulic capacity to accept processing heads, directional-felling heads, shear heads, or mulching attachements. Productivity, comfort, safety and serviceability are central of the updated design.
Visibility is excellent from inside the modern and spacious FOPS, ROPS and OPS cab. The commanding work environment is both safe and quiet. Powerful air conditioning, a comfortable seat and ergonomically positioned controls keep the operator cool and productive all day. Controls are easy to learn and the machine is fun to operate.
Advantages of these 3-wheeled units include fuel consumption below 5 gallons per hour; easy & low-cost transport from job to job; and a purchase price that is nearly $50,000.00 less than comparable 4-wheeled units.
The DF703 is also available in 4 different paint schemes.
